Beautiful Friendship

What is your favorite color? Mine is orchid, purple, in fact, any shade of purple. I am using the stamp set called Beautiful Friendship this week. It looks absolutely beautiful in Gorgeous Grape and Highland Heather.

Here's the card I created for my card class using Beautiful Friendship:

.
A photo does not do this card justice. It is so pretty. I used Granny Apple Green for the leaves. Don't you just love the bling? Those are rhinestones are the Noble Peacock rhinestones. I used two of the Gorgeous Grape and one Old Olive. I love the sparkle!! This card is a simple, easily copied design that even new stampers can make, don't you think?

Here is the stamp set. The sentiments are very useful and those flowers are so pretty. I am going to try it in different colors because I think they will be just as pretty.

Wondering what else is going on at Stampin' Up?

Scalloped Note Cards are a must have!

It's that time again: Kylie's Demonstrator Training Blog Hop, that is!!

The summer is flying by but there is still time to play with my stamps. I have so many new sets that need to be used.

I wanted to use the Scalloped Note Cards

These cards come in four colors and include the matching envelope. Something a little different from a Whisper White card base.

My card for today features a strip out of the Designer Series paper called Woven Threads. This sheet looked really nice with the Powder Pink Scalloped Note card. The flower is from the Floral Essence stamp set and is inked in Flirty Flamingo. The darker flower is stamped first and the lighter flower is stamped without reinking. Even though the notecard is Powder Pink, the flowers look great with it. Don't you agree? The leaves are stamped in Old Olive and punched out with the Leaf Punch. Those rhinestones sparkle and finish off this card. Notice the little strip of DSP along the bottom? I just love that touch.

We'll be making this card at my Card Class on August 22. It is just so pretty in person. Want to come? Just email me.
