Bright Star Club Create

Club Information & Guidelines:

Subscribe here to be automatically charged each month for Club Create. You will be charged around the same day each month (for example, if you first start your subscription on February 24, you will be charged on the 24th of the following months).
To get the current month’s kit, you must be subscribed and payment must be received by the 20th of the month (Central Time). Payments made after the 20th of the month will be put toward the next month’s kit.
The monthly fee is $40 (this includes shipping).
Kits will include approximately $22-$25 in product each month, however, the exact product will not be announced beforehand (due to backorders).
Products will not be exchanged out for other items. Stamp sets will not be included in the $22-$25 product part of the monthly club. You will be able to add on the featured stamp set or bundle when possible. If you want the stamp set or bundle, email me so I can invoice you.
Packets will ship between the 25th and 27th of each month.
Kits will ship US Postal Service 1st Class Mail. You will be provided a tracking number once your packet ships (between the 25th and 27th of the month).
An email with the PDF instructions will be sent when the kits are shipped (between the 25th and 27th of each month).
Want to skip a month? You’ll need to cancel and resubscribe for the following month’s kit. No credits or substitutions will be provided.
There are no refunds, substitutions or exchanges on club kits.
You may cancel your subscription at any time. If you’ve made a payment for that month’s kit and then decide to cancel, you will receive that month’s kit and none after.

Bloom Impressions Designer Series Paper with Mixed Labels Bundle

Hello! We survived our cold and wet camping trip. It wasn't the nicest trip we've had but we enjoyed the time away.

Made some time today to finish up the extra cards from last month's cards class. One of them uses the Bloom Impressions Designer Series Paper which is a free product you can choose during Sale-a-bration. It is 12" x 12" and very much floral on one side. Here is the display board that shows both sides of the sheets. You get twelve sheets, two of six designs. Isn't it pretty? The entire sheet of some of the floral patterns is a bit busy but when you cut it up and mix it with the 'B' side or some cardstock, it's manageable.

My card used three of the coordination cardstock: Azure Afternoon, Shy Shamrock and Daffodil Delight.

Cutting Instructions:

Card Base: 5 1/2" x 8 1/2", scored at 4 1/4"

Shy Shamrock layer: 4" x 5 1/4"

DSP layer: 3 3/4" x 5"

Scraps of Daffodil Delight and Basic White plus a piece for the inside

Sale-a-bration Continues

What do you do to relax? We are making plans to go camping. Yes, it's still winter but our weather has been more like late spring. So we made reservations to go to our favorite campground, Cooper Lake State Park-Doctors Creek. Guess what? It's supposed to cool off and rain! We'll be fine in our camper and we can still cook out even if we have to get creative. I'll let you know how it goes.

My relaxation for today was making cards. Somehow I bet that doesn't surprise you. I had participated in a class hosted by my team leader and fellow demonstrator. I enjoy doing classes for two reasons: Someone else does the planning and prepares the kits and I can use the cards for my classes. The card I am going to show you is made with Stampin' Up!®'s Notecards and the Fruit Salad Designer Series Paper. This pack of paper is FREE with a qualifying order during Sale-a-bration. The card base for the card is one of the Note Cards & Envelopes.

Do you have paper scraps you are wondering what to do with? These little notecards might be the answer to that problem. The strips of DSP are cut 3 3/4" x 7/8". Stampin' Up!'s notecards are smaller than our usual 4 1/4" x 5 1/2" cards.

Friendly Seagulls Hey Friend Card

Have you ever been to the beach? I live in Texas but a long way from the beach, however, I have been and I love those seagulls. They fly right up to you and will follow you for a treat. Sometimes, they will even steal food right out of your hand! Today's card features the Friendly Seagulls stamp set which is one of the FREE items you can earn during Sale-a-bration. How do you earn it? That's easy-place a minimum $60 order in my Online Store and choose Friendly Seagulls as your reward!

My inspiration for this card came from fellow demonstrator Melissa Faust. What I like about this card is you get to emboss with two different embossing folders, tear your cardstock and layer it, stamp, color and fussy cut the seagulls and assemble all the layers. Whew! But how cute is the finished project.

I love the color combo, it reminds me of the beach. Coastal Cabana and Pool Party with some Crumb Cake and Pecan Pie with a touch of Real Red is so pretty. I used three different sizes of the Countryside Corners dies, they layer so nicely. I used the largest one for the inside layer instead of a rectangle of Basic White.

Cutting Instructions:

Card Base is cut 5 1/2" x 8 1/2", scored and folded at 4 1/4"

Basic White layer is cut 4" x 5 1/4" and embossed

You can figure out what you need to die cut the rest of the layers

Fun Fold Valentine Card

Exciting News: There are new Sale-a-bration reward items effective today. Check them out HERE!!

Today's card is a fun fold card that offers a useful template for any combo of Stampin' Up!'s® pretty papers. This card is definitely a Valentine's card and the beautiful paper is called Marbled Elegance Specialty paper. Those pretty heart shaped gold embellishments are currently not available but keep your eye on them and be ready to add to your cart when they do come back.

Cutting Instructions:

Card Base: 5 1/2" x 8 1/2", scored at 1 1/2" and 4 1/4"

Fold in half then fold right edge back on front

DSP: Cut a piece 4" x 5 1/4", from that piece cut the right edge at 1 1/4", cut another piece for the front fold 1" x 5 1/4"

Real Red and Basic White to die cut labels, piece of Basic White to stamp and die cut heart

This is what the front looks like with the flap opened. When you adhere the label only put your adhesive on the flap for sure and not the right edge. It's optional if you want to stick the front fold down but I didn't.
