Masculine Cards with the Trusty Tools Bundle

The next Online Class offering is one with a masculine theme. If you are like me, you need some masculine cards occasionally. This little class features the Trusty Tools bundle and would make some nice manly cards for your card stash. The ones I made were for Father's Day but it would be easy enough to substitute sentiments for birthday cards.

This card is a gift card holder! The card base is flat and the center panel opens. This one can be a birthday card because there is no sentiment on the inside but there will be room to write your own message. I like cards like that sometimes.

Lots of texture on this card. And all those tools! In my video, I distressed the embossed layer and tool box to add even more texture and definition. You know dad's work shop is not all that clean!

The Country Woods Designer Series Paper has so many distressed wood options. This one is perfect for that rustic, cabin fell. The 'paint' on the paintbrush is added with Lost Lagoon stampin' blends. I have used a Thank You stamp on my extra cards for this one. It can also be adapted to a Happy Birthday card. Did your dad have a pencil in his tool box? Mine did.

Filled With Fun Online Card Class

Today's set of cards is part of my Online Card Class. 

I used the Filled with Fun bundle to make three cute cards. This bundle is an extra 10% off until June 30. If you place a minimum $35 order in my Online store, I will send you the kits to make these cards. I can do the die cutting but NO stamping. This bundle is so much fun.

You can build a scene with very little stamping with these dies. The wagon is die cut from a piece of Country Woods Designer Series Paper.  Pretty in Pink is such a bright color. The Basic Black mat really sets off the center panel, don't you agree? I love the Peach Pie banner. I used the Oxidized Copper specialty DSP for the hub caps and wagon handle. Stampin' Blends add color to the flowers. The brass butterflies are just the detail of bling. The sentiment is Sweetly Scripted and is such a nice set to add to your crafting room.

More wagon fun but this time filled with presents. I used a different piece of the Country Woods DSP for the background layer. For my sample card, I used the Natural Polka Dot trim. My favorite is the balloon! This card makes me smile.

The card base for this card is our new Basic Beige cardstock. Another piece of the Country Woods DSP adds a little Petal Pink color. For this card, I stamped and die cut all parts of the wagon. The ribbon 'road' is so much fun!
