Beary Christmas to You

This fall is flying by, isn't it? Taking a 10 day cruise really has made it fly by. There isn't going to be enough time to have card classes in person so the next best thing-card classes to go! 

My next card class to go features the Beary Christmas suite on pages 22-23 of the mini catalog. The stamp set has a coordinating punch. You are going to want the stamps and punch that coordinate. You always have the option to add on to your card class order!

Here is one of the cards in this class. I cut a scene out of one of the sheets of DSP, no stamping on the front of the card. The sentiment on the inside can be one from your own stamps. I love that snowflake paper. Here is what the rest of the paper looks like. Don't you love those sweater designs?

Two Fun Fold Cards Using One Horse Open Sleigh Suite and All About Autum...

Two Fun Folds using Horse & Sleigh and All About Autumn DSP

 Hello! Sorry for the absence but you know, we took a cruise! We had the best time. I crafted with Kurstan and Patty when we were sailing along. I saw lighthouses but very little fall color. The locals were saying it's been too warm and dry.

Today I have two pretty cards that are both fun folds. The first one is made with One Horse Open Sleigh Designer Series paper. The One Horse Open Sleigh suite is an Online Exclusive only. The supply list for this card is at the bottom of the post.

This is a landscape card (the crease is on the left). 

This is the inside of the card. Notice the front is shorter with the center panel as the focal point. 

Cutting Instructions:

• Card Base: 7 3/4 x 4 1/4; score at 5 1/2
• Center Panel: 3 1/8" x 4 1/8"
• Designer Series paper for Center Panel: 3 x 4, DSP for side flap: 2 x 4
• DSP for inside: 4 x 5 1/4
• Inside liner: 3 x 4

The second card I have for you today is a fall card. This Designer Series Paper is stunning. All About Autumn DSP has been hard to come by. It is currently not available but will be back in stock next week. One side of the paper has photos of fall scenes, pumpkins, leaves and books and the other side is foiled! Coppery, shiny and so pretty. Today's card used a realistic scene of the woods with sun streaking in. Isn't it pretty?

This is a portrait card but is cut a bit differently that most of my cards. The front is trimmed off 1" so it's shorter than the back. That gives you space to adhere more pretty paper! The label is die cut with a Deckled Rectangle die. I love the little bit of detail that gives the sentiment. Those Adhesive-Backed Speckle dots add just the right amount of sparkle. (Note: these dots are so popular and currently not available so keep checking back if you want some) This is an easy card and can be mass produced quickly but are so pretty in hand.

Cutting Instructions:

• Card Base: 7 1/2 x 5 1/2, score at 4 1/4
• Designer Series Paper for front: 3 x 5 1/4; for inside edge: 1 1/2 x 5 1/4
• Liner: 3 x 5
• Scrap for sentiment label

Apple Harvest Card

 I love fall, don't you? When I see apples, it makes me think of fall. Apple Harvest stamp set is in the Annual Catalog on page 38. The Apple Blossom Dies are on the clearance rack! Let's talk about how this card is made.

The card base is Pebbled Path, a new In Color! It's perfect for this card. Cherry Cobbler is added for color to make those apples pop. The piece of Designer Series Paper is from the Earthen Elegance DSP pack. It's the back of one of the pieces. It is die cut with one of the Deckled Rectangle Dies for some texture. 

The apple branch is stamped on Basic White cardstock and colored with, you guessed it, Stampin' Blends. I used Real Red, Granny Apple Green and Crumb Cake. The stamp already has some shadow details that really make the dark Real Red look great. It is die cut using the Apple Blossoms dies.

The sentiment is the Apple Harvest stamp set. It's stamped in Memento Black on Very Vanilla and die cut with a die from the Apple Blossoms dies. I embellished with a double twine Linen Thread and Classic Matte Dots.

Cutting Instructions:

• Pebbled Path: 4 1/4" x 11", scored at 5 1/2"
• Cherry Cobbler: 4" x 5 1/4"
• Die cut DSP with second largest Deckled Dies
• Scrap of Basic White to stamp apple branch
• Scrap of Very Vanilla to stamp sentiment and die cut with label

Wishing You a Festive Christmas

 This cute card features the Trucking Along Bundle (Item #162306). As of today, Sept. 12, the punch is not available until Oct. 16 but you don't really have to have the punch to cut out the truck. It's easy enough to use scissors and cut it out. The list of supplies I used to make this card are at the bottom of this post.

Cutting Instructions:

• Garden Green card base: 5 1/2" x 8 1/2". Scored at 4 1/4"
• A Walk in the Forest Designer Series Paper (your choice);: 3" x 5 1/4"
• Die cut largest Nested Essentials die in Basic White
• Die cut using Deckled Rectangle Dies for sentiment
• Die cut a piece of Winter Meadow Designer Series Paper using next to the smallest flag die
• Scrap piece of Basic White to stamp truck

This card is so cute coming out of the envelope, your recipient is going to love it!!
