Today My Favorite is the Daisy Lane Bundle!
So happy to be part of Kylie's Demonstrator Training Blog Hop this month. There are always such beautiful projects I feel a little out of place but I'll be brave and share my creations.
I have been featuring my favorite bundles out of the new catalog. So far, Good Morning Magnolia and Free As A Bird Bundles have been my faves. It is so hard to pick just one for my favorite. So maybe this should be my favorite of the week. This week I am using the Daisy Lane Bundle.
For inspiration, I used the catalog! That's what we have it for and sometimes it is a great starting point.
At my recent event I designed a card for a first time attendee because I wasn't sure if she had ever stamped before. She loves art and had no problems stamping, coloring and assembling the cards I offered. So this little card is just sitting there waiting for its chance to shine.
It is a simple stamping card except for punching out the flowers. I can jazz it up for my next class and they will love it! I used the general layout of the catalog sample above but chose different colors and only one flower.

Here's my stepped-up version of this card. I changed out the color scheme. Pretty Peacock and Terracotta Tile look great together. I used the Basket Weave 3D embossing folder on the Terracotta Tile DSP. To make the flower more prominent I stamped it on Whisper White and cut it out with one of the Stitched Nested Labels dies. The center of the flower is a Faceted Die. The sentiment is punched with the 1 3/8" Scallop Punch and mounted on a 3/4" Circle punch (oops, that is retired but the 1/2" punch would work). I like this card so much better!
Here's the latest Stampin' Up! news (in case you missed it) :
If don't know why Bonus Days is so exciting, let me explain. For every $50 you order before July 31 (before shipping and tax), you earn a $5 Bonus Days coupon code that can be used August 1–31. You must have an email address in order to get your code. Do Not delete this email because Stampin' Up! cannot replace it! You can earn multiple codes with one order. Get out your wish list and shop. My online store is open all the time.
This promotion is so nice. The best time to join my team is when you get extra products in your starter kit!!
Between now and August 31, join Stampin' Up! for $99 and get $155 new products in your starter kit. That is $30 more than usual. PLUS, you get a $10 coupon code to spend the month after you join.
No requirements to sell anything. You can join just for the discount. Yes, really. I would love to talk to you more about this. Email me now before you forget!
That's all for now. Thanks for stopping by.
Happy Stamping,
Mary Lou Foster

Great cards Mary-Lou. The Basket Weave embossing folder looks great with the Daisy lane stamp set :-)
