Hello, August! Is it going to ever cool off? We had over an inch of rain today which is the first rain we've had in weeks. There is hope summer will taper off. I have been planning Christmas card classes. Can you believe in one sentence we talk about summer and in the next, Christmas. Good grief!
Let's talk about card making. I did my Facebook live Monday to show how to make a card using Sale-a-bration items that you can earn for free. It's called Wonderful World stamp set and Designer Series Paper. It's a bundle that you can choose with your order over $100. I used every stamp in the stamp set! There are no sentiments or words in this stamp set. "Hello" is in Biggest Wish stamp set
Here's the You Tube video link, if you'd rather watch me making this card.
For class, my ladies had a choice of Mossy Meadow or Petal Pink. For my video, I used Petal Pink.
Card Base: In this version, Petal Pink, cut 4 1/4" x 11, scored at 5 1/2"
DSP Layer: About 4 x 5 1/4", die cut with one of the Deckled Rectangle Dies
Tools: Blending Brushes, Sponge Daubers, Stylish Shapes Dies, Deckled Rectangle Dies, Stampin' Cut & Emboss Machine
Ink: Daffodil Delight, Mossy Meadow, Flirty Flamingo, Rich Razzleberry
Techniques: Using Blending Brushes, Adding ink with Sponge Daubers
There is a list of supplies I used at the bottom of this post.
I love those Brushed Brass Butterflies, they add some bling and a hint of motion. There is one Champagne Rhinestone on the label.
For this card, I used some of the DSP to decorate the envelope flap. This card is blank inside. It can be used for a Thank You card or just a note you want to send to someone.
The only way you can get this stamp set and paper is to place an order over $100. Here are the 10 new items added to what you can select for your free item. The Sale-a-bration brochure is
HERE. There are two items that are no longer available: Pool Party and Soft Seafoam Cards & Envelopes and the Tree Lot Dies. If there is something you would really, really like, don't wait too long. These are only available while supplies last.
That's all I have for you today. Let me know if you copy my card. It's called CASE: copy and share everything.
Until next time, have fun stamping!
