Today's card features the pretty Meandering Meadow Designer Series Paper and Petal Park stamps and punch. It is also a fun fold card. The paper is an online exclusive so that's why you haven't noticed it in a catalog. Remember to shop my online store to get the best shopping experience and not miss out on products. Did you know it's Sale-a-bration time? January and February with every $50+ order, you get to choose FREE items.
The color combo on this one is some of my favorite colors. Orchid Oasis and Fresh Fressia bring out the beautiful details in the paper. The panel the sentiment is on is the 'B' side of the paper. You can't see the sparkle on the flowers but I brushed them with Wink of Stella. In person, they shimmer.
Cutting instructions:
Card Base: 5/ 12" x 6 1/2", score on long side at 4 1/4"
Fresh Freesia layer for left side: 2" x 5 1/4"; for flap: 3 1/4" x 3 3/4", scored at 1/2" on long side
Designer Series Paper: for left side: 1 7/8" x 5 1/8", for flap: 3" x 3"
You'll need a scrap of Orchid Oasis and basic White to die cut the label
Here is the inside of the card to remind you to be sure and adhere the front flap to the inside liner BEFORE sticking it all down! I burnish the fold on the Fresh Freesia piece so it fits nicely against the edge of the Basic White liner. You can also see that the front label hangs off to the left on that flap. Do Not put your adhesive all the way to the edge or it will stick the flap and you can't open your card.
Be sure when you stamp the inside verse that you make sure it's hidden behind that front flap. It can't be too high or it will show when your card is closed.
I used a dark green side for the front flap on this card. It is more dramatic and I think I like it better. There are lots of combinations with the Meandering Meadow DSP.
