Sophisticated Sled and Ice Skates Card

Today's card is made with the Sophisticated Sled bundle. It doesn't snow in NE Texas but I still like sleds and ice skates. I have never done either. Have you?

The cool thing about this sled-there is no stamping! It is die cut. Look how much detail has been added to the die to make it look like wood. The Oxidized Copper specialty paper looks like metal for the sled slats. It's hard to capture in a photo but in person, you can tell and see the little bit of sparkle. The skates are stamped and then die cut, that's it. Can you see the embossing on the Basic White center panel? The Timber 3D embossing folder is a new folder and I sure do like the texture it adds.

Even though this card isn't the usual Christmas palette of colors, it is Cherry Cobbler. If you prefer green and red, choose a different Designer Series Paper layer, it would still look great!

Cutting Instructions:
Card Base (Cherry Cobbler): 5 1/2" x 8 1/2", score at 4 1/4"
DSP layer: 4" x 5 1/4"
Center Panel: Cherry Cobbler cut 3 1/4" x 4 1/4"; Basic White layer cut 3" x 4", emboss, adhere on dimensionals
You will need a piece of Pecan Pie to die cut sled, Oxidized Copper to die cut slats and a piece of Basic White to stamp ice skates
Inside layer: cut Basic White 4" x 5 1/4"

Thanks for stopping by! Let me know if you like this card.

Until next time,
