Gallery Blooms Thank You Card

 Hello!

Hope you are enjoying the spring weather. My daffodils have been going crazy this year. Little spots of sunshine in unexpected places. I enjoy flowers of all kinds so no surprise I make cards with flowers!

Today's card is one my ladies made in class. I wanted to introduce them to the Greetings for All Mix & Match Ephemera Pack. This pack offers sentiments for every occasion, no stamping required! Do you need a birthday card? No problem there is a label for that. We made our card a Thank You card.

Gallery Blooms bundle is part of the Beautiful Gallery Suite Collection but I paired it with Floral Charm DSP. The frame is die cut with one of the frames in the die set! You get two frames with a rectangle piece out of the center. We used the smaller frame and brushed Fresh Freesia on Basic White. This added a little color so the frame wasn't so white. A technique that can be used to distress your card or add color.

The flower stem was stamped in Memento Black and colored with Stampin' Blends. Isn't it pretty? Did you notice the vellum? It softens the paper so the flowers and sentiment become the center of attention. I layered two pieces of the pretty Designer Series Paper to the card, did you see the dark green mat? It's the back side of one of the pieces!

For the liner on the inside, I die cut a piece of Basic White using Branching Out Dies. It adds a little bit of detail and isn't just a rectangle. Since this was a thank you card, there is no sentiment stamped

Thanks for stopping by today!

Until next time,
